The phantom within this crystal is detached from the bottom of this crystal point, so you can see and feel the texture of the initial growth. There are rainbows around the inner edge of the phantom, viewable from multiple angles.

In 2019 we visited a mine near Chongwe Zambia and we were able to get some kilos of samples with very special phantoms.
In March 2020, as the world melted, we got a message while at the airport in Johannes. The news was bad. Zambia would require is to quarantine for 14 days.
We had bold ambitions for our trip but this leg was quickly scuttled.
We had plans to visit this mine but we failed. However our team was able to send us a parcel of these unusually included quartz.
We stayed in touch with the community miners who sent us a large parcel in October 2020.
