Natural Citrine, Citrine Quartz From Mansa, Zambia. This large, beautiful crystal would make an excellent addition to any collection!

Weight: 644 grams

These crystals have not been treated in any way and are completely natural. We expect small dings on these crystals and some imperfect points owing to the conditions at the mine.

In October 2018, we traveled to the mine in Zambia to collect wondrous natural citrine crystals. We watched as the crystals were unearthed and were allowed to even dig ourselves.

Very simple means are used to extract the stones, shovels, and picks. The job is to find the veins producing the crystals which appear ever deeper.

Working directly at the mine, then bringing the beautiful crystals to North America, we are pleased to present this fine citrine to you directly.

About Natural Citrine:

Citrine is a stone as bright as its energy. Everything about this stone emanates positivity and joy. Even its name, which is derived from the French word for lemon, carries a sense of sun and joy attached to it. Found naturally in Brazil, Africa, Madagascar, Spain, Russia, France, Scotland, and the USA, this gemstone has been an ornamental gem for civilizations as early as 300 B.C., and a favorite with jewelry makers since the ancient Greeks and Romans.

According to Judy Hall, the author of The Encyclopedia of Crystals, Natural Citrine is a powerful cleanser as it refuses to take in negative energy, thus never needing to be cleansed. It works around the clock to clean the environment it's placed in. This Crystal welcomes wealth and joy, helping the holder to become emotionally balanced when touched to the skin.

Citrine has a strong connection to the sun and can help strengthen fire signs.

We have been collecting mineral specimens in Southern Africa since 2002. We focus on bringing a wide variety of unusual, beautiful, and energetic minerals!
