Japan Law Twin Quartz (Set of 3) – Kudubis, Erongo Region, Namibia

A striking miniature set of three Japan Law Twin quartz crystals from the prolific Kudubis area of the Erongo Region, one of the world’s premier localities for aesthetic twin formations.

This find was discovered in February 2026. We visited the site in April. 

These specimens display the classic “V-shaped” twin habit, formed when two quartz crystals intersect at approximately 84°33′, a rare crystallographic relationship highly prized by collectors.

The Erongo Mountains are renowned for producing some of the finest and most abundant Japan Law twin quartz specimens outside of Japan, often exhibiting excellent clarity and sharp geometry.


Nharo started traveling to Africa in 2002. Our company started buying arts and crafts. Over time fantastic minerals drew our attention. Craft buying taught us how to deal with African artists and we applied the lessons we had learned to dealing with small scale miners.
