This beautiful bust statue is carved in butter jade, and is a creamy yellow streaked with lines and veins of light and dark green, darker yellow and brown.
Butter Jade, also known as African Jade, is an ancient stone found in Southern Africa. Most of it is around 50 million years old! It is a creamy, yellow/green semi-precious stone which often exhibits calming, stabilizing, grounding effects. This piece of history is an example of a beautiful healing stone.
