Deep Blue Aquamarine, Erongo Mountain, Erongo Region, Namibia
We make twice-yearly trips to Namibia. We maintain communications with many small-scale miners through out the rest of the year. It is always our hope that when we arrive, or while we are there something special will come out of the ground.
During our trip in March '16, we communicated with a small-scale miner who spends much of his time on the Erongo Mountain. The word was not good. As we arrived I phoned to find out if there was good news. Nothing. As we prepared to leave, with three days left in the trip my phone rang. "Come, I have something".
The blue of the aquamarine crystal structure, the size, and the combination with other minerals, black tourmaline, fluorescent, and hyalite, make these crystals very collectible.
Aquamarine carries the frequency of release, allowing the user to let go of anything that no longer serves a positive purpose. It is great for releasing feelings of hurt, resentment, pain, grief, and betrayal. It also allows one to let go of long-standing grudges, judgments, and attachments. Aquamarine's cooling vibration quiets complaining anger and the need for revenge. Although the frequency of Aquamarine is deeply calming, the wearer is nevertheless vibrantly present and highly alert.
